Overview

eBook-translater is a personal reading workspace for offline EPUB translation, PDF translation, notes, highlights, and exported study copies. The app works with books and documents imported by the user.

Files and user content

The app does not sell, provide, or claim ownership of user books, EPUB files, PDF files, notes, highlights, translated text, or exported working copies. No books are uploaded when Local AI is enabled. Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to import, translate, store, and export their documents.

Data collection

The marketing website can be served without account registration. Server logs may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

Payments

Mac purchases are handled by Apple through the Mac App Store. Future Windows purchases are planned to be handled by PayPal or another payment processor. The website must not collect or store payment card numbers.

Third-party services

The website may link to Apple, PayPal, Telegram, or other third-party services. Their own privacy policies apply when users leave this website.
